History:

Two brothers, Dan and Frank Carney founded the famous American restaurant chain named Pizza Hut in 1958. Its first outlet was opened in Wichita, Kansas. Months passing by they opened their second outlet in the same year.

After that, they start giving franchises in 1959. The pizza hut building has its iconic style to look better and attract customers. In 1977, Pizza hut was acquired by PepsiCo.

The outlets were occupied internationally with countries such as North America, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Myanmar, and Macau in Asia. Pizza hut was the first American franchises to open in Iraq.

They are also located in Europe in United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Ecuador, in South and Central America; in South Africa and Tanzania in Africa; and in Australia, New Zealand in Oceania.

Food Specialties:

To increase their sales the company started to re brand which began on November 19, 2014. They also expanded their menu to start selling various new items such as different crust flavours and 11 new special types of pizzas. This also gave its impact in refreshing their workers from the same type of pizza making all the time.

Concept of pizza hut survey:

The American restaurant chain has many different restaurant formats which included some for family suitable dining locations, storefront delivery type outlets as well as carry out locations and mixed type of categories containing carry-out, delivery, and dine-in options. The main concept for the upscale category was introduced in 2004, known as Pizza Hut Italian Bistro.

This bistro was containing some new dishes touched with the Italian theme. The buildings have their vintage Red Roof style logo and design in the United States and Canada, UK, Australia and Mexico.

Many Red Roof branches sold beer if not as a full bar style. They also have music from jukebox and arcade. In the 1980s, the company started including options like home delivery and fast food express models.

Products:

The product sold in the large quantity in pizza hut was pan pizza which was baked in a pan with a crispy edge, also some other products like stuffed crust pizza introduced onMarch 26, 1995 which was made like a roll of pizza base stuffed with veggies, mozzarella cheese. They also introduced hand-tossed pizzeria crusts. After that, they installed some cocktail menu in London branches also.

Pasta Hut:

Pizza hut took feed backs of their customers in America through emails with their new pasta items. On one April fool’s day, they sent emails to customers mentioning their changing of the name from pizza hut to pasta hut! Looking at the tremendous response of customers over pasta they made this publicity stunt.
